AGHS Summer Workout Information

Football: Ayden-Grifton Football summer conditioning starts with Phase 1, Monday, June 15th. To gain entry, you must pick up your COVID-19 Athlete Questionnaire Thursday, June 11th, fill it out, and get signed by a parent. When you come to pick up your questionnaire, you will sign up for your workout time slot (First Come, First Served). Times to sign up & pick up your COVID-19 Athlete Questionnaire will be from 9 am-12 pm and 2 pm – 5 pm on Thursday between the Auxiliary gym and the Cafeteria, next to the Football parking lot. Boy’s Basketball: Ayden-Grifton Boy’s Basketball is currently collecting information for returning players as well as rising 9th graders. Please complete this form and coaches will contact you with information on the necessary paperwork, schedules, and workout information. If you have any questions please contact Coach Moye (moyej@pitt.k12.nc.us).

Girls’ Basketball: Ayden-Grifton Girl’s Basketball will be handing out the necessary paperwork, schedules, and workout information at the school on Friday, June 12 from 12 pm – 3 pm. If you have any questions please contact Coach Kessel (kesselC@pitt.k12.nc.us).

Soccer: Ayden-Grifton Co-Ed Soccer will be giving out necessary paperwork, schedules, and workout information on Monday, June 15 at 5:30 outside the auxiliary gym. Please contact Coach Stelly (stellyj@pitt.k12.nc.us) if you have any questions.

Volleyball: Ayden-Grifton Volleyball will be giving out the necessary paperwork, schedules, and workout information on Friday, June 12 at 11 am outside the auxiliary gym. Please contact Coach Waters (watersn@pitt.k12.nc.us) if you have any questions.

Requirements:
Have a valid physical.
Be academically eligible.
Return NCHSAA paperwork.
Athletes will be monitored/checked daily.
# Limits (10 Inside / 25 Outside)
Cleaning of Facilities and Equipment between each use.
Athletes will work out in “pods” each day.

General Reminders:
Athletes must provide their own water bottle/jug and must be clearly labeled with their name.
If an athlete is feeling sick or showing symptoms they should not come to a workout.
Athletes should only arrive 10 minutes before the workout and have rides here 10 minutes after workout.
Remember to hydrate and eat adequately before and after workouts.
Please wear appropriate clothing to all workouts and confer with your coach should you need clarification.
Athletes and Coaches must maintain social distancing at all times while on campus and during workouts.
Face masks are recommended for all athletes and coaches with the exception of athletes during strenuous exercise.
