Tennis travel to Clinton for 1st RD of Playoffs

The AGHS Men’s tennis team will be traveling to Clinton for the 1st round of the NCHSAA team playoffs today.  With a win they would travel to the winner of Washington or First Flight next Tuesday.

AG Track Competes in ECC 2-A Conference Meet

The AG boys finished 3rd and the Girls finished 5th overall in the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference Track Championships on Wednesday April 22nd. Tennis clinches 2nd, heads for Playoffs

AG Boys Tennis clinched the #2 seed from the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference and will begin play in the NCHSAA playoffs on Tuesday April 28th against an opponent to be determined.

Athletic Physicals – need Volunteers!

We will be doing Athletic Physicals on Monday April 27th in the main gym at AGHS at 3:30 pm.  We will have a meeting tomorrow during flex period with all current spring athletes and any returning athletes for next year.  We will be giving out the forms at the meeting for the athletes to take

Athletes to Volunteer for Shad Mud Run

Hunter Cannon wins Award!

Hunter Cannon has won a $1000 scholarship from the Bill Dooley Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.  Hunter and his parents will be the guest of the foundation at a banquet on the campus of Duke University on Wednesday April 29th where he will be recognized with a plaque.  Hunter

Ray Avery Tournament Champions!

The Ayden-Grifton Varsity Baseball Team Won the 2015 Ray Avery Easter Baseball Tournament at Ayden-Grifton High School.  They defeated Roanoke Rapids High School on Saturday night 12-4, East Carteret High School 9-1 on Monday night and finished off the tournament with a 11-0 win over South Creek High school in 5 innings on Tuesday night.
